PLANETE MER
With Planète Mer, a non-profit organisation founded in 2007, whose mission is to work together to restore a sustainable balance between marine life and human activities.
Yaf Keru is a community-based coral reef restoration programme in the heart of the world's most diverse coral reef zone. More than 550 species of coral
have been recorded in the Raja Ampat archipelago in Indonesia.
The aim of the programme is to restore 5 hectares of reef in order to have an environmental, economic and social impact on the local population.
This project contributes to 2 SDGs:
No.2 : Zero Hunger, No.14 Aquatic Life.
650,000 NEW BEES PROTECTED
The Un Toit Pour Les Abeilles network brings together a large number of beekeepers throughout France and Belgium. Its aim is to help save bees, develop colonies, support a sector that is suffering, and thus protect biodiversity.
Since 2018, the support of the Puressentiel Foundation has helped to protect more than 4,950,000 bees in the Un Toit Pour Les Abeilles network!
This project meets 4 SDGs: No. 8: Decent work and economic growth, No. 12: Responsible consumption and production, No. 13: Measures to combat climate change and No. 15: Life on Earth.
290,000 NEW TREES, COVERING 182 HECTARES
Since 2022, the support of the Puressentiel Foundation has enabled almost 1,300,000 trees to be planted in Madagascar.
In 2025, the Puressentiel Foundation's endowment will enable more than 290,000 new trees to be planted for the sustainable reforestation of degraded land in order
to combat climate change. As a result, 170 hectares of degraded hills will be reforested with forest trees by 2025, including at least 12 hectares specifically with native species.
This project meets 4 SDGs: No. 1: No poverty, No. 10: Reduced inequalities, No. 13: Measures to combat climate change and No. 15: Life on Earth.
MADAGASCAR GROWING TOGETHER
The Puressentiel Foundation supports Madagascar Grandir Ensemble, which helps underprivileged children and teenagers in Madagascar get into school and supports their families.
In 2025, the Puressentiel Foundation is supporting a project to plant 8,000 banana trees and purchase 500 kg of peanut seeds and 500 kg of voanjobory seeds (Malagasy peas) to help 800 farming families in 6 villages around Taindambo to overcome the famine which has been raging in Madagascar for several years:
The project has several objectives: to reforest, diversify the diet of the children and their families, provide additional income for the farmers (who earn less than €2 a day), and promote the local economy (purchase of banana plants locally).
This project contributes to 2 MDGs: No. 1: No poverty, No. 2: Zero hunger.
WINGS OF THE OCEAN
In 2025, the Puressentiel Foundation is renewing its support for the "Bassin
d'Arcachon" mission, which includes 80 clean-ups and 40 awareness-raising
initiatives, in collaboration with local partners (local authorities, companies, associations and local populations). At the same time, this mission is part of a wider scientific programme, CANOPE, which is being carried out thanks to ADEME, CNRS and the data collected by Wings of the Ocean in the field over a 30-month period.
This project fulfils 4 SDGs: No. 4: Quality education, No. 13: Measures to combat climate change, No. 14: Aquatic life, No. 15: Terrestrial life.
POLYNESIAN ORNITHOLOGICAL SOCIETY
In 2025, the Puressentiel Foundation is supporting the project to create a
Wild Bird Rescue Centre in Polynesia. It
will be designed to meet the growing need for care for injured, sick or distressed wild birds. It will play a central role in the protection of endangered and endemic species. 500 birds a year are expected to pass through the rescue centre, and the numbers are constantly increasing.
The centre is a temporary refuge for vulnerable birds until they return to the wild, but it is also a research and awareness centre.
This project contributes to 2 SDGs: N°14: Aquatic life, N°15: Terrestrial life.
