The purest natural ingredients
Our essential oils, vegetable oils and hydrolats meet the highest quality criteria. All our aromatic ingredients (essential oils, hydrolats and aromatic extracts) are 100% pure and natural (undiluted) and obtained by physical processes that comply with international standard ISO 9235.
Our essential oils are HEBBD (Huile Essentielle Botaniquement et Biochimiquement Définie) and HECT (Huile Essentielle ChémoTypée). These quality criteria guarantee the perfect botanical and biochemical identification of each essential oil¹.
¹ Two essential oils from the same plant species may have different majority compositions depending on the region in which they are produced, and therefore different properties.
Products guaranteed free from harmful substances
Formulas guaranteed to be free from preservatives², parabens, phenoxyethanol, P.E.G., colouring agents, animal raw materials³, petrochemicals, synthetic fragrances, environmentally harmful propellants, plastic microbeads, dimethicone, silicone, GMOs and phthalates.
From the farmer's field to the finished product, a Puressentiel essential oil will have undergone at least 4 quality controls, carried out both internally and by independent approved laboratories.

Certifications
As an ISO 9001 certified company, we have integrated responsible practices into our daily activities in order to guarantee quality, traceability, transparency and customer satisfaction.
Puressentiel is ISO 13485 certified, an international standard which attests to compliance with the regulatory requirements set for Medical Devices in order to guarantee product safety and traceability.
In order to anchor our commitments in a rigorous, credible and transparent approach, we rely on independent certification bodies. All our certified Organic and Natural products are audited by Ecocert at least once a year, according to different standards. Our Food Supplements and Organic Food products in Belgium are audited by Certisys.

A commitment to effectiveness
Since its creation, Puressentiel has carried out over 500 clinical studies and efficacy and tolerance tests on all its products and over 3,500 analysis and development tests in collaboration with hospital doctors, researchers and independent laboratories.
In addition to its team of experts made up of doctors, pharmacists, hospital or out-patient practitioners and toxicologists, Puressentiel also relies on its 3 Scientific Committees made up of multi-disciplinary experts (doctors, pharmacists, hospital or out-patient practitioners, toxicology experts) who share with us the latest advances in medical and scientific research and support us in the formulation of our products.
Their remit: Thinking about the design and implementation of clinical protocols. Promoting the studies carried out, in particular by taking part in conferences and symposia. Collaboration with French and international federations and learned societies.
