Rosemary Cineole (Rosmarinus officinalis cineoliferum)

Originally from the Mediterranean basin, rosemary is mainly produced in Spain.
It is found all over the world: in France, Portugal, Morocco, South Africa, India, China, Great Britain, Australia, the United States, etc.


Main aromatic molecules: Terpene oxides (1,8-cineole or eucalyptol), monoterpenes, monoterpenones (camphor), monoterpenols.
Family: Lamiaceae.
Producing organs: twigs and flowering tops.
Yield: 1.5 to 2 kg of essential oil per 100 kg of plants.
Equivalence: 1 ml → 31 drops (dosage calculated for a calibrated dropper European Pharmacopoeia).
