Main properties
Essential oil of thyme linalool is a potent antiseptic, anti-infectious and antifungal agent (Candida albicans) and vermifuge (taenia, ascaris, pinworm). It is used both for pulmonary ailments (cough, bronchitis, pharyngitis) and for intestinal inflammation, urinary tract infections (cystitis, urethritis) and gynaecological infection (vaginal candidiasis, prostatitis, vaginitis), skin ailments (mycosis, infectious dermatitis, psoriasis, warts) and physical or mental fatigue as it is a tonic.

FATIGUE
using a mixture of 2 drops of essential oil of thyme linalool diluted in 1 teaspoon of carrier oil, massage along the spine twice daily for 5 days. Adults only.
ACNE
perform a twice-weekly fumigation (for 15 minutes) with 2 drops of essential oil of thyme linalool mixed with 1 tablespoon of powdered milk, poured into a bowl of hot water. From 12 years+.
CLEANSING OF THE AIR
add 5 drops of essential oil of thyme linalool, 5 drops of essential oil of Eucalyptus radiata and 10 drops of lemon essence to a spray diffuser. Diffuse twice per day for 20 minutes for preventive and cleansing purposes. Always ask your pharmacist for advice. From 7 years+.

Precautions for use
The essential oil is well-tolerated, though, as a precaution, it should be diluted prior to application to the skin.

It produces delicate whitish-pink florets. Propagation is carried out by clump division in spring, or by cuttings in summer. It can grow at altitudes of up to 2,000 metres.
