How to use
- Insert the glass cup into the diffuser’s wooden base. Before using the diffuser, remember to remove the adhesive film from the glass cup.
- Insert the USB C adapter’s charger cable into the outlet at the back of the diffuser. Connect the power cable to the USB connector on a computer or a 100 240V AC adapter outlet with continuous 5 V DC output and plug the adapter into a power outlet.
- Press on the touch button. Diffusion begins and the LED light under the glass cup lights up. The timer starts and stops automatically after diffusing for 58 minutes for optimal safety. To restart the timer, turn the device back on by pressing on the button again. Press on the button again to stop diffusion.
- Pour 20 to 25 drops of essential oils or of a Puressentiel® diffusion blend into the glass cup and let yourself be carried away by the fragrances. The diffuser must not be used in areas exposed to artificial heat sources (radiator, convector or other) or humidity (water source)
Warnings
Read these precautions carefully before using the diffuser.
- This device may be used by children aged 8 or over and by persons whose physical, sensory, or mental capacities are impaired, or by persons with limited experience or knowledge, provided that they are appropriately supervised or that instructions on safely using the device have been provided and if risk factors have been identified.
- Children should not play with the device.
- Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Do not diffuse essential oils in the presence of children under 7 years of age without consulting a health specialist (unless authorised on the product). Wait ½ hour after the end of diffusion before letting children enter the room.
- Do not use essential oils not recommended for diffusion. Do not use perfumes or synthetic essences that could cause irreparable damage to the diffuser. The device must only be used with substances recommended for diffusion.
- The use of other substances may result in toxic or fire hazards.
- Care should be taken to avoid burns, as the central part of the diffuser can become very hot. Please do not touch this area when the device is operating.
- The power cable cannot be replaced: the device must be discarded if the cable is damaged.
First use & change of Essential Oil
First time use:
Ensure that the Diffuser is switched off and unplugged.
- Insert the glass dish into the wooden base of the Diffuser. When using for the first time, make sure to remove the sticky paper from the glass dish.
- Insert the USB C plug of the power cable into the socket on the back of the diffuser. Connect the power cable to the USB connector on a computer or to a 100-240V AC adapter with 5V DC output and plug the adapter into a power outlet. Please note that the adapter is not included in the purchase. The diffuser must remain plugged in when in use.
Changing the essential oil
If you wish to change the essential oil to be diffused, empty contents from the central part of the diffuser and clean it with a soft, damp cloth before pouring in Puressentiel® essential oils or a Puressentiel® diffusion blend.
Cleaning & maintenance
Make sure the Diffuser is switched off before doing this. Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Clean regularly after each use for better diffusion. Do not put any part of the diffuser in the dishwasher.
