Before any use or handling, check that the ORSO diffuser is switched off and unplugged.

Instructions for use :

• Place the diffuser on a flat, stable surface, away from the edge. Do not place it on or near furniture or surfaces sensitive to humidity.
• Remove the outer cover of the diffuser and then the inner cover.
• Fill the reservoir with cold water and/or hydrosol without exceeding the maximum water level indicator (80ml).
• Then add a few drops of Puressentiel® essential oil or blend for diffusion, 1 to 2 drops for 10 ml.
• Carefully replace the inner cover and then the outer cover on the base of the diffuser.
• Insert the power cable plug into the USB-C port on the back of the diffuser. Connect the USB plug of the power cable to a mains adapter (100-240V output 5V DC / 1A minimum) then plug the adapter in.

Operation:

Diffusion function

1. Press the button once to start the misting mode and changing light. The diffuser will stop when the water level is too low.
2. Press the button a second time to start the misting mode and set the chosen light. The diffuser will stop when the water level is too low.
3. Press a third time to maintain misting and switch off the light.
4. Press a fourth time to switch off the diffusion completely.

Note:

When the water level is low or at zero, diffusion stops automatically and the light flashes for 2 minutes. Water temperature, ambient temperature and humidity can affect the amount of mist produced and therefore reduce operating time. Depending on the temperature and quality of the water, the amount of mist may be less at the start. The fragrance released may vary depending on ventilation, temperature, humidity and the size of the room. Never empty the water from the side of the ventilation hole! Do not use hot water. It could damage the diffuser.

Cleaning and maintenance:

The diffuser has an ultrasonic misting disc, which is located in the middle of the water tank. We recommend that you thoroughly clean the spray disc at least once a month, or more often depending on how you use it.

After each use :

1. Switch off and unplug the appliance.
2. Remove the covers and drain the water from the tank. Empty the water in the opposite direction to the air outlet, do not empty the water into the air outlet: this will damage the diffuser.
3. Clean the inside of the diffuser with a soft cloth and a little water. Gently rub the ceramic disc with a cotton bud, taking care not to scratch it.

Cleaning should be carried out once a month:

1. Switch off and unplug the appliance.
2. Remove the covers and empty the water from the tank. Empty the water in the opposite direction to the air outlet. Do not empty the water into the air outlet: this will damage the diffuser.
3. Pour a few drops of white vinegar diluted in water to remove any residual essential oils from the tank.
4. Empty the water-vinegar mixture in the opposite direction to the air outlet and rinse the inside of the tank thoroughly with clean water.
5. Wipe the tank with a soft cloth.

Read these precautions carefully before using the diffuser.

Warning:

Microorganisms that may be present in the water or in the environment in which the appliance is used or stored may develop in the water tank and be projected into the air, leading to very serious health risks if the water is not renewed and the tank is not properly cleaned every 3 days. Never leave water in the tank when the appliance is not in use. High levels of humidity can contribute to the development of biological organisms in the environment.

• N’utilisez jamais un appareil dont le cordon ou la fiche est abîmé. Evitez également de l’utiliser en cas de défectuosité, de chute ou de dommage quelconque. Vérifiez toujours le câble d’alimentation avant chaque utilisation. Si celui-ci est endommagé, il faut le remplacer par un autre identique.
• N’exposez jamais l’appareil à la pluie, au soleil, à la chaleur ou au gel.
• Veillez à ne pas dépasser le niveau d’eau maximum (80ml). Toujours remplir le réservoir d’eau avant d’ajouter l’huile essentielle ou une autre substance parfumée dans le réservoir de l'appareil. Ne jamais utiliser uniquement avec de l'huile essentielle. Ne jamais remplir avec des huiles essentielles pures ou d'autres substances parfumées le réservoir de l'appareil.

• Never use an appliance with a damaged cord or plug. Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged in any way. Always check the power cable before use. If it is damaged, replace it with an identical one.
• Never expose the appliance to rain, sun, heat or frost.
• Do not exceed the maximum water level (80ml). Always fill the water tank before adding essential oil or any other scented substance to the appliance tank. Never use only essential oil. Never fill the tank with pure essential oils or other fragranced substances.
• Do not use essential oils that are not recommended for diffusion. Do not use synthetic perfumes or essences that could damage the diffuser. The use of these substances may generate a risk of toxicity. Only use the recommended diffusers (water, hydrolats, essential oils). The use of other substances may generate a risk of toxicity.
• For room diffusion only, do not inhale.
• Do not use the essential oil diffuser in the presence of young children, pregnant or breastfeeding women or people with allergies to essential oils.

Some essential oils are not recommended for diffusion. Ask your pharmacist for advice or check our dedicated advice. Be sure to check the precautions for use of each one before using it as a vapour.

The contractual guarantee on all our diffusers is valid for one year from the date of purchase shown on the proof of purchase.
