A distillery in Richerenches, which collects Lavandin directly from local producers.

SCA3P, a long-standing, committed cooperative

Founded in 1979 by 7 passionate growers, the cooperative today has 6 employees.

A know-how rooted in Provence

The producers grow a wide variety of local plants: Lavender, Lavandin, Sclaree sage, Coriander, Rosemary, Oregano,
Fennel and Thyme.
The distillation is carried out using steam, with mobile
containers installed as close as possible to the fields, to preserve quality and limit environmental impact.

Quality - A partner you can trust

It holds several labels and certifications: UEBT (ethical sourcing), AOP Lavande fine de Haute-Provence and Fair For
Life certification.
As a collective structure, it guarantees fair remuneration for producers and secure, local supplies for its customers.

Traceability and circular economy

Essential oils can be traced back to the plot of origin.
The by-products of the distillation process - hydrolats and straw - are
and integrated into a circular economy.

Innovation and resilience in the face of climate challenges

The cooperative is developing agro-ecological practices through a process of continuous experimentation.
It supports its members in their efforts to make agriculture more resilient in the face of climatic hazards.

Approximately 8 tonnes of essential oils are purchased by Puressentiel each year from SCA3P.

1 hectare = 8 to 10 tonnes of plants = 100 kilos of EO on average.
